Softball Team

softballCBT has sponsored a softball team in Jewish softball league for many, many years. The season runs from March through July with games played Sunday mornings at Walnut Creek's Heather Farms. The league is comprised of teams representing various East Bay synagogues and other Jewish organizations. CBTs most recent league championship occurred in 2008. Tikvah Tones

The Tikvah Tones are the house band of B'nai Tikvah. Led by bassist Harry Wittenberg, the Tikvah Tones have performed at numerous CBT functions over the years providing a great outlet for musicians in our community.


The B'nai Tikvah Choir, under the expert direction of Cantor Jennie Chabon, performs at High Holidays and through the year. Additionally, the choir participates in different local choral festivals. The choir is open to all members with a love for music.

Restaurant Walk - Save the date - October 3, 2017

restwalkThe Annual "Taste of Walnut Creek" has been one of B'nai Tikvah’s longest running fundraisers. We stroll the streets of Walnut Creek on a balmy Fall evening with local restaurants offering a taste of the foods they serve. The 2015 Restaurant Walk featured 23 restaurants and over 500 participants. It's a great way to spend an evening with friends and sample some of the area's best cuisine. The 2016 Restaurant Walk will take place October 18th. Tickets will be $30 each and will go on sale in late summer.


Trivia Night - Save the date - November 4, 2017

The annual trivia night allows trivia novices and experts to enjoy a trivia-filled evening and friendly competition. Held in our beautiful social hall, Trivia Night has been a B'nai Tikvah tradition for more than a decade.
