Brotherhood

The function of Brotherhood is to provide an additional dimension to our Temple Community for our male membership. Our activities which include social, educational and congregational support, are open to all, but I liken us to public television which is available to everyone but really needs membership support to continue to provide meaningful services, (actually, not unlike the Temple itself.) So, if you think what we are doing is of value or of interest to you, consider becoming a member.

Brotherhood provides ushering, parking assistance and security during the High Holidays and in December a Holiday Toy Drive for Children's Hospital, in conjunction with the Social Action Committee.

Other annual activities generally include a Trivia Night fundraiser, a wine tasting night, a one day Temple Spring Clean Up and an evening baseball game at Pac Bell Park and/or the Coliseum.

Finally, if you have any ideas for other activities which you think will work for us, please let us know. You won't be targeted to run an activity just because you recommend it, so don't be reluctant to bring ideas to our attention. If it doesn't fit into this year's schedule, we'll take it on the following year.
